Lisa Edelstein, an American actress who is best known for House the Fox medical drama series. Born in Wayne with a strict Jewish tradition, she moved into New York City at the age of 18 to pursue studies in acting at the Tisch School of the Arts. She quickly became part of the scene of clubs in New York. The performances she gave were so good that even the local press noticed. Her experience and fame along with her personal training to both write and present a program called Positive Me. Awake the Wild Side, a show that she was host for MTV was soon her task. Once the program was over the actress went on to do film as well as TV productions. She started with tiny roles and then established herself slowly as an actress.
