Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian, TV host and performer most well-known for her role as host of The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas, was raised between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from the same family which has experienced numerous issues. She was a child who spent a lot of time taking care of her sister Frankie. Frankie was a patient of polio. As a teenager, she had many problems with her mother. Sheryl states that in one instance her mother stabbed her father for getting too close to her. Sheryl became a member of the military soon after she graduated her college. However, her interests lay in comedy. She became the first female winner of the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career began in 1992 when she was a guest participant on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She was a guest as host of Oh Drama! as the host in 2000. Since 2011, she has been hosting as a co-host of The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. She also has fictional roles on series such Bulworth, Nikki or Beauty Shop.
